Our Revolution Metro Denver is conducting its Annual Membership Meeting on-line due to current conditions. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 9th, 6:30 -7:45 PM.

We have several objectives. These include:

1. Maintain and build grassroots involvement across our member and friends community
2. Build awareness of how a progressive approach to addressing the pandemic impact on working people and communities would differ from the current government approach
3. Communicate out key call-to-action messages from the Bernie2020 campaign
4. Motivate members to participate in call banks for our endorsed down-ballot candidates

Skip Madson, Executive Director of #DemEnterCo, will provide training for all interested in participating in the March 7 Precinct Caucus’s and beyond. The precinct caucus is an opportunity to ensure that the Democratic Party in Colorado advocates for all the people. For more information on Caucuses, go to

The training will provide both an overview of what to expect at the Caucus, as well as a deep dive for those wanting to become delegates at any level. This will include how to become a delegate, the difference between assembly and convention delegates, strategies, and more. Beside his role on Democracy enter Colorado, Skip is also Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party Rules Committee, a past delegate to DNC Conventions, and a member of the 2016 Convention Rule Committee.

Second Wednesday at the Merc is a monthly event that brings Metro Denver progressives together to share information and insights. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow progressives and to stay up to date on issues, candidates, and volunteer opportunities.

Join Our Revolution Metro Denver for a Holiday Party where we will make holiday cards for detainees in the GEO Aurora, Colorado Immigrant Detention Center. All Denver Metro progressives are invited. Cash bar and menu.

Please bring colored pencils, crayons, or pens and their your creativity. ORMD will provide the “cards” .

Detention center guidelines prohibit stickers, glitter, tape or staples.

Cards will be delivered to Casa de Paz for distribution.

We’ll take a look at the plans being formulated for Colorado’s 2020 primary, caucus, and convention process, and what they will mean for Bernie supporters and the progressive movement in Colorado.

Canvas for Medicare for All (note location change below)

Meet at QuiceEssential Coffee House 1447 Quince Street, Denver promptly at 3PM for training. We are canvassing to build support for Medicare for All. Goals of canvas are 1) to educate about Medicare for All and the Medicare for all Act of 2019 (H.R. 1384) ; 2) to generate grass roots pressure on our legislators; and 3) to bring supporters into the movement. A brief training session will be provided at the start, so please come on time.

Agenda will include an update on endorsements for Denver City Council and introduction to endorsed candidates that may join us. Rally and March for Universal Health Care


Join activists from the Foundation for Universal Health Care and many other groups for Lobby Day on the West steps of the Capitol. Tell your legislator to keep Universal Health Care on the Table. Ask them to vote for the Health Care analysis Act of 2019, which authorizes an economic impact analysis of health care systems, including universal health care.

Attending organizations and people include Our Revolution (Boulder and Denver), Democratic Socialists of America, Donna Smith, Arvadans for Progressive Action, and Health Care for All.


Run Bernie Run Kickoff



This kickoff event will be live-streamed nationwide, by Organizing for Bernie, to hundreds of events and thousands of volunteers. Holiday Card Making for Youth Inmates

Are you “Politically Exhausted!” Then come join with Our Revolution Metro Denver, Democratic Socialists of America , and CO Working Families Party for a special community event. We will be creating non-religious, non-political, holiday cards for youth who are incarcerated in a facility in Illinois and for some inmates in Colorado. No artistic ability needed and we supply the materials. This is at one of our favorite Colorado spots, Grandma’s House, a small brewery in Denver. They provide us a reserved room, no charge, so please plan to purchase some of the special beers or another beverage. Outside food is allowed, so either bring something for yourself or ideally, food to share.

Make calls for Colorado Ballot Initiative 2-E Democracy for the People.

Join ORMD as we meet at the Colorado Working Families Party office, October 11, 5:45-8:30 to make calls, using the national Our Revolution dialer in support of Ballot initiative 2-E Democracy for the People. National Our Revolution has endorsed this clean campaign initiative. Please rsvp and check out this 3 minute training video prior. Bring a laptop(not tablet) and charged cell phone. These are easy calls for an initiative that has strong support, but it is crucial that voters know about this initiative.
